L’EmD Chocolate began with a love of distinctive flavors, European-inspired craftsmanship, and the belief that something made by hand can create a meaningful connection between people.
What began as an exploration of chocolate gradually became an Atelier—a place where technique and creativity meet, familiar ingredients are reimagined, and every collection is created with care and intention.
A Personal Approach to Chocolate
For founder and chocolatier Diana Dram, chocolate is poetry, a blank canvas, and a sensory bridge to imagination, emotion, and meaningful human connection.
Drawing on a long career in the food industry, multi-week professional chocolate studies, and specialized hands-on training in France, Diana brings together an understanding of ingredients, quality, and the way food creates connection. L’EmD is the expression of that experience through a more personal medium—one shaped by craftsmanship, imagination, and an enduring fascination with flavor.
Each flavor begins with curiosity—perhaps the fragrance of jasmine or bergamot, the warmth of Assam tea, the richness of brown butter, or the brightness of blood orange. Like words in a poem, every element is chosen with intention, then composed to create harmony, contrast, and discovery.
This connection between chocolate and poetry is woven into the L’EmD experience. Selected bonbons may be accompanied by a haiku or short poem—an invitation to pause, engage the senses, and experience each piece as more than a confection.
